    Maintenance & Calibration Technician – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

     

    $25.42 – $29.09 per hour | Onsite in Indianapolis, IN | 1st or 2nd Shift

    PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a global leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is seeking a skilled **Maintenance & Calibration Technician** . In this role, you’ll ensure the reliability and compliance of critical production systems in a state-of-the-art GMP Radioligand Therapies facility, supporting the safe and high-quality production of life-saving therapies.

    What You’ll Do

    + Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on production equipment, lab instruments, and building management systems.

    + Troubleshoot and repair complex systems, including isolators, filling lines, utilities, HVAC, pumps, vacuum systems, motors, pneumatics, and control systems.

    + Interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to plan and execute maintenance and repairs.

    + Support 24/7 site operations, including startup and commissioning activities.

    + Maintain and calibrate radiation detection equipment to ensure compliance with radiation safety programs.

    + Document work orders, procedures, and deviations in accordance with cGMP requirements.

    + Provide technical support, spare parts data, and responsive service to internal customers.

    + Mentor and train less experienced technicians.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

    + 3+ years of hands-on plant maintenance experience in a regulated GMP environment.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.

    + Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in protective clothing, including cleanroom environments.

    + Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Preferred:

    + Experience in aseptic fill/finish, radiopharmacy, or pharmaceutical/medical device environments.

    + Training in radioactive or hazardous materials handling.

    + Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, DEA, or international regulatory requirements.
