    McCarthy Tire Service, one of the top commercial tire dealers in North America, is looking for a dependable and motivated Off-the-Road (OTR) Tire Technician to join our team at a dedicated mine site in Kershaw, SC. This is a resident position—all working hours are spent on-site at the mine.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Mount, demount, repair, and inspect OTR tires on heavy mining equipment

    + Perform daily tire maintenance and inspections at the mine site

    + Maintain service records and ensure safety protocols are followed

    + Work closely with site supervisors and mine personnel

    + Operate tire handling and service equipment safely and effectively

    What We’re Looking For:

    + A strong work ethic and commitment to safety

    + Willingness to work in a mine environment

    + Valid driver's license (required)

    + Mechanical aptitude or tire service experience is a plus

    + Willingness to obtain TIA OTR Tire Certification (we’ll support you!)
