    Your Responsibilities

    As a **Senior Hardware Engineer, Advanced Engineering** for **JD Intelligent Solutions Group** located in **Fargo, ND** , you will:

    + Conduct electromagnetics simulations and validate simulations with measurements. Simulations would be at a Printed Circuit Board level, module level, and system level.

    + Design and test embedded circuitry.

    + Operate in a team environment and may act as lead person, providing technical leadership and design solutions. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to other engineers and support personnel.

    + Provide technical consultation and a knowledge base.

    + Be recognized as an expert across a product line.

    What Skills You Need

    Experience with the following:

    + An Electromagnetics FEM tool (Ansys HFSS or similar).

    + Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)

    + Spectrum Analyzer (SA)

    + Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing Techniques and Procedures

    + Matlab (or similar)

    + Schematic Capture and PCB CAD Software

     

    What Makes You Standout

    Experience with the following:

    + Microwave Engineering

    + Experience with solving Electromagnetic Compatibility problems CISPR 25

    + Antenna Design and Simulation

    + RF Cabling and Harnessing

    + Signal Integrity/Power Integrity Simulation

    + PhD Electromagentics Related Field

    Education

    Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

    + Master's Degree in Applied Electromagentics Related Field or Equivalent Level
