About the Role:

Are you passionate about precision, innovation, and working with cutting-edge technology? Join our Fabrication team as a CNC Optical Technician, where you'll help produce high-performance optical components using advanced CNC diamond turning equipment. **Whether you're just starting out or bringing years of experience, we welcome talent at all levels.**

Shifts Available:

+ 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

+ 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM

What You’ll Do:

+ Set up, operate, and maintain CNC diamond turning machines to support production goals.

+ Interpret engineering drawings and follow standardized work instructions and lean manufacturing processes.

+ Use metrology tools to inspect and verify that optical components meet exacting specifications.

+ Perform manual cleaning of optical surfaces using appropriate solvents and materials.

+ Collect and analyze production data using basic math and statistical tools.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

What You'll Bring:

Must-Have Qualifications:

+ U.S. Person status (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Ability to read and follow written instructions in English

+ Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of experience in machining or CNC production environments

+ Proficiency in CNC equipment setup and operation

+ Experience with precision measurements on optical or mechanical components

Working Conditions:

+ May involve lifting or moving items up to 40 lbs.

+ Exposure to chemicals and solvents; safety glasses and gloves are required.

+ Standing for extended periods and working in a production environment.
