Ed Herrington Inc. is currently seeking a part-time Custodian/Cleaner for approx. 10 hours per week. Hours of operation daytime Monday – Friday, 7a – 4p, Every other Saturday 7a-3p.

SUMMARY: Keeps premises of retail store, associated office spaces, and yard office spaces in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned

+ Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways and other work areas.

+ Sweeps and scrubs floors as scheduled; waxes and polishes on a schedule basis or as needed.

+ Vacuums rugs and carpets as scheduled; upholstered furniture and draperies on a schedule basis or as needed.

+ Dusts furniture and equipment.

+ Polishes metalwork.

+ Washes walls, ceilings and woodwork as needed.

+ Empties wastebaskets as scheduled disposing of trash and recyclables in proper receptacles.

+ Replenishes bathroom and kitchen supplies.

+ Provides other cleaning maintenance duties as required, conferring with Location Mgr on special projects.

+ Submits inventory replacement order on a timely basis.

+ Participates in all required training assignments.

+ Displays teamwork and effort in performance of all duties.

Supports the goals and objectives of Ed Herrington, Inc. through adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and work requirements for successful completion of all assignments.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
