Adecco is partnering with a client in Calvert City, KY for a Logistics Coordinator.
Plans, schedules the efficient movement of material from the warehouse to shipments.
Executes/coordinates shipping schedule while working in conjunction with the Shipping Foreman for the best use of personnel
Including but not limited to:
+ Coordinates all drum/tote shipments with carriers.
+ Tenders TL shipments in Transportation Management System
+ Creates and maintains the daily shipping schedule
+ Investigate issues that arise with carriers.
+ Print all customer required labels in ELM label program
+ Print all export GHS labels after confirming in SAP the required label for overseas shipments
+ Utilize 3rd party websites/email/phone to schedule customer preferred carriers
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Coordinate all drum/IBC loads with carriers (outbound and some inbound)
+ Tender loads utilizing TMS (Transportation Management System)
+ Maintain and coordinate shipping schedule with Foreman
+ Prepare Bills of Ladings
+ Print export, domestic and customer specific labels
+ Use SAP to confirm shipments
+ Assist with purchase orders, receiving, etc.
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
+ A minimum of a High School diploma
+ Logistics experience preferred
+ 49CFR, IATA and IMDG certifications, or be able to obtain
+ Must be highly proficient in the use of computers: email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Must be highly organized and self-motivated
+ Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Must have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to multi-task
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
+ SAP experience, SAP & Accounting practices is highly desirable
+ Microsoft products, excel, and word
**Pay Details:** $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
