    **Location:** Clifton, NJ

    **Shift:** 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    **Salary Range:** $23.00–$23.00 per hour

    **Schedule:** Monday – Friday (with availability for weekends and holidays as needed)

    Position Summary

    Adecco is hiring a Shipping Lead for the 2nd shift at our client’s facility in Clifton, NJ. This key warehouse role supports the Warehouse Supervisor by leading shipping operations, validating shipments, and fostering a productive and safety-focused team environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to upholding high standards in quality, safety, and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    _Personnel Leadership_

    + Train shipping personnel in procedures, safety, GMPs, and equipment use

    + Ensure proper breaks and lunches are taken (2x 10-min breaks and 1x 30-min lunch)

    + Organize labor and resources for maximum productivity

    + Participate in evaluations, scheduling, and disciplinary actions

    + Enforce correct and safe usage of warehouse equipment

    _Shipping & Inventory_

    + Verify shipments and ensure accurate labeling

    + Communicate shortages to customer service

    + Use Batchmaster for inventory movement

    + Complete BOLs and maintain shipping documentation

    + Manage dock operations, driver check-ins/outs, and shipping seals

    _Facility Maintenance_

    + Keep docks and storage areas clean and organized

    + Ensure machines are charged at end of shift

    + Relieve desk clerk during breaks/lunch

    _Food Safety & Compliance_

    + Monitor storage conditions and product rotation

    + Record lot numbers for traceability

    + Prevent cross-contamination between allergens and non-allergens

    + Enforce proper GMP and food safety practices

    _Additional Duties_

    + Perform all other tasks as assigned by management

    Requirements

    + High School diploma or GED

    + Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

    + Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs. and stand/walk throughout shift

    + Strong written and verbal English skills

    + Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

    Preferred Skills

    + Strong organizational and communication abilities

    + Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or warehouse operations

    + Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
