The Job:
As **BOMs & Process Planning Specialist** , you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team and will be working as an Hybrid employee. With the new way that Engineering builds Engineering Bills of Materials or EBOMs from Universal BOMs, and the impact to Manufacturing, this is a critical role for the near and long term. This role will work with the LTTS and IT teams to help design the right processes for creation and transformation of BOMs, act as liaison with the Global Supply Chain and other teams to help transition from current state to future state, establish standard work on BOM structures, and oversee deployment of best practices to ensure quality and integrity of the product BOMs. The BOMs & Process Planning Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing Bills of Materials and production process documentation. This role ensures accurate data management, supports manufacturing efficiency, and facilitates seamless transitions from product design to production. They will act as a key liaison between engineering, production, and supply chain teams. This position is critical to ensuring accurate product data, efficient production processes, and successful collaboration across manufacturing functions.
Key Responsibilities:
BOM Management
-Execute xBOM strategy for transitioning all of Tools & Outdoor product line -------Bills of Materials to Universal BOMs
-Develop & deploy standard work and training on management of xBOMs
-Develop & manage protocols for transformation of xBOMs into MBOMs, -----------SBOMs and other BOM needs across the organization
-Develop & manage xBOM analytics and reports for use across T&O
Process Planning
-Develop and document frameworks for managing manufacturing process instructions and routings.
-Coordinate with Manufacturing Operations (GSC) to ensure process & data consistency with Engineering BOMs
-Support integration of process platforming into Engineering BOMs
Data Integrity & Compliance
-Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all process and BOM documentation.
-Maintain compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
-Liaise with engineering, production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure smooth workflow and resolve discrepancies.
-Participate in new product launch teams to ensure manufacturability and cost targets are met.
Continuous Improvement
-Identify and implement opportunities for process or documentation improvement.
-Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production or quality issues.

+ 3DEXPERIENCE Platform from Dassault Systems
+ Enovia and CATIA experience is a plus
+ Knowledge of CM2 Best practices
+ Demonstrated competence in project planning, scheduling, and tracking.
+ Exceptional communication skills, with tact and diplomacy to exchange ideas effectively.
+ Proven ability to influence others to achieve shared goals.

Pay Range Language: Use the paragraph below *only* for the states listed.
The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $64,400 to $115,900 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
