The Category Leadership Advisor is a customer-facing position that supports the National Accounts Area sales team by developing and presenting the LHD category strategy, shelving and assortment principles into the customer, with a focus on ensuring appropriate space and focus is dedicated in store to LHD products. This individual will collaborate with the Category Leadership Lead and National Accounts area sales team for our National Accounts customers.

This Category Leadership Advisor position is for National Accounts Food Retailers and Wholesalers.

From yourEXPERTISEto ours

+ Analyze syndicated data (Circana, Symphony, 84.51, Numerator, JDA, etc.) to identify key insights and business recommendations on distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotion

+ Develop and cultivate relationships with Customer Category Managers

+ Conduct assortment assessments and creates planograms

+ Develop and integrate consumer, shopper and retailer insights to better inform targeted strategies, plans and decisions

+ Leverage insight resources to prioritize consumer and shopper needs and opportunities

+ Integrate data from a variety of sources to develop impactful customer-specific selling stories in support of key category business building initiatives.

+ Leads broader space initiatives across aisle and store

+ Partners with Customer Business Leads in the development of insight-based new item presentations

+ Conduct training of customer teams to broaden their understanding of sales information and tools available for business tracking and analysis.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 2+ years consumer package goods industry experience

+ Strong analytic / problem solving capability

+ Strong syndicated and panel data knowledge

+ Space management software skills

+ Good project management and training skills

+ Ability to comprehend and sell space management concepts within the context of category management

+ Effective communication skills and presentation skills

+ Solid working knowledge of computers and related systems including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

+ Ability to Travel (up to 25%)

Salary Description

$95,000 - $105,000 / Year
