Functional Overview & Responsibilities:
Over the 10–12-week internship, you will be working with a team focused on completion of a specific strategic sourcing project using world-class procurement tools and processes. You will also have accessibility and interaction with Senior Leadership and an opportunity to present your project at the end of the internship. Your project may involve one of more of the following:
Participating in the development of a Category Strategy aimed at creating new value for key business areas within the pharmaceutical value chain
+ Completing a spend diagnostic in order to identify potential sourcing opportunities
+ Developing a market analysis model of cost
+ Building our external market knowledge base through the study of a focused market dynamic for goods or services important to the business
+ Acting as part of a negotiation/contracting team
Basic Qualifications:
+ Actively pursuing one of the following BA degrees: Business related undergrad with a concentration or emphasis on supply chain, accounting, finance, economics, data analytics or related field.
+ Currently attending school and will be graduating with bachelor’s degree by August 2027

Additional Information:
All interns will be considered for full-time positions based on their internship performance
+ Lilly arranges various intern activities including sporting events, dinners, lunch and learns, volunteer activities etc. to provide opportunities for socializing, professional development, and learning more about Lilly.
+ Interns will receive 1 week of paid time off during the Lilly summer shut-down (June 29th, 2026 – July 3rd, 2026
+ 1:1 mentoring from an experienced professional in the function
+ Interns will receive a competitive salary as well as access to Lilly’s LIFE fitness center and bike garage.
+ If the intern's job position requires a move from another location, Lilly will provide subsidized housing.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$43,000 - $110,000
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
