**VCA Arden Animal Hospital** is hiring an experienced **Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor** to help oversee clinic operations and lead our team of Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants.

**Salary Range:** $33 - $44 per hour

About the Role

As Veterinary Technician Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

+ Directing workflow on the floor

+ Cultivate an engaging work environment and maintain our strong hospital culture

+ Work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospital

+ Help with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associates

+ Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills

+ Conduct staff meetings

+ Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience

+ Mentoring technicians within the department

+ Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner

+ Refining and implementing protocols

+ Ensure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.

Having mastered the entire range of vet tech skills yourself, you are a role model for the team. You will work alongside our Veterinarians, Hospital Manager, and Assistant Manager to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently, and foster a winning environment.

Qualifications:

+ Credentialed Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT

+ Team leadership experience

+ Passion for Veterinary Medicine

+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

+ **5+ years of clinical experience**
