    Description

    Summary:Huntington Commercial Bank Regional Manager will manage the Commercial banking activities for Austin, Texas. Our new colleague will develop strategies to meet established goals for loan growth, deposit growth, fees, expense management, and overall Commercial regional operating income performance.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Directs the Commercial business development activities for the region.

    + Oversees the quality of the loan portfolio and compliance with credit policy and regulations.

    + Establishes procedures to ensure credit risk is monitored and is ultimately held accountable for credit risk within the Commercial portfolio of the region.

    + Direct involvement in major relationships, including negotiating and structuring complex transactions and credits.

    + Represents Huntington in the professional marketplace/community through:

    + Involvement with professional network to be visible to subordinates and management.

    + Active participation in Huntington sponsored events.

    + Participation in community events, serving on local boards, demonstrating Huntington support for the local community.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + 7+ years of experience in commercial banking, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

    + Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + MBA or advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP, CBM).

    + 10+ years of experience leading and motivating commercial bank teams.

    + Strong understanding of commercial lending, credit analysis, and financial regulations.

    + Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

    + Proven track record of managing, meeting, and exceeding goals.
