    Responsibilities

    Manage the centralized collections operations for Private Pay with the business goals to:

    * Improve DSO

    * Reduce DSO Target Ratio

    * Improve Private Collection %

     

    Lead, manage and develop staff to deliver positive business results.

     

    Assure compliance with policies and procedures. Develop new policies and maintain existing policies consistent with evolving business objectives.

     

    Is a member of the CBO Management Team.

     

    * In collaboration with Director, CBO and Regional Controller, establish and communicate Collection Goals.

    * Monitor accounts aging on a daily basis; adjust workload and assign staff to ensure success.

    * Manage staff performance by monitoring daily activity reports and taking appropriate action.

    * Manage staff performance, conduct performance review, and take appropriate action.

    * Interview all candidates and make hiring decision.

    * Report weekly - monthly results -- Collections - Forecast.

    * Assure timely and complete submission of entries for Medicare Reimbursable Bad Debt (for Private) submission.

    * Develop alternative payment plans/concepts in order to maximize GHC collection potential.

    * Offer solution for non-compliance accounts. Provide general guidance, re-assign staff, and transfer to Delinquent Accounts.

    * Offer techniques in negotiating, influencing and problem solving -- all within Fair Debt Credit Protection Act -- in order to remove roadblocks associated with customer account collection.

    * Manage vendor relationships and performance associated with collection activities.

    * Demonstrates care and compassion to ensure that all internal and external customers consistently receive the highest quality of service.

    * Shows respect and appreciation to others.

    * Works with a positive attitude, demonstrating teamwork and enjoyment for the job.

    * Demonstrates focus and discipline to in doing the best job possible.

    * Exhibits honesty and integrity in all aspects of the job.

     

    Performs all other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelor's Degree and 10 -- 15 years progressive Accounts Receivable Management experience. 2. Experience managing staff of 10 or more. 3. Ability to effectively communicate with Sr. Management.

    Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.

     

    Posted Salary Range

     

    USD $65,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
