Division : Within the Psychology Department at ELMHS, Located in Jackson, LA

The Mission of ELMHS is to provide mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation for adults. Programs include inpatient interventions, jail-based evaluations, supervised group home and residential programs, forensic evaluation, care, custody, and aftercare; intermediate and long-term psychiatric care are coordinated with the total system of care in Louisiana.

ELMHS is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to come and join the team in the Psychology Department as anAssociate to a Psychologist!

Minimum Qualifications

A master's degree in psychology.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

In this role, you will:

+ Perform a limited number of psychological services, including the administration and scoring of measures of intellectual, achievement, personality/psychopathology, and other psychological and behavioral measures under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist.

+ Perform background interviews, review and summarize clinical and legal records, and assist in writing psychological screening reports and other types of psychological reports with supervision.

+ Coordinate psychological resources for clients.

+ Assist or conduct individual and group therapy sessions, track client progress, provide oral and written feedback to patients and referral source.

+ Assist in data collection and the creation and management of behavior management plans for patients, and conducts related interventions under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.

+ Assist in competency restoration and other treatment activities as required.
