Zions Bancorporation has an opportunity for an **Application/Platform Systems Engineer** with JSON, application administration, Salesforce, and ITSM experience and eager to work with various technologies to join the Digital Strategy Project team that works on projects to expand our digital presence through cutting edge technologies. As an Application/Platform Systems Engineer you will be responsible for administering and configuring applications, the security environment, and a variety of other mission critical experiences on various technology platforms for our users.

The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to effectively participate with cross-functional teams and customers in collaborative design and development activities dealing with complex applications and challenges. You will be detail oriented, focused on delivering high quality deliverables, have a passion for the field of application services and possess empathy with a drive to create outstanding experiences and improved solutions for our users.

This individual will:

+ Collaborate with team members and leadership to provide excellent customer and peer experiences on technologies you help support.

+ Create templates and components within various third-party solutions/platforms and implement to accomplish business objectives.

+ Create solutions, reporting, experiences and/or automation leveraging various technologies. (e.g., JSON, JavaScript, APEX, etc)

+ Adhere to ITSM best practices (e.g., Change, Incident, Knowledge, etc)

+ Document, demo and showcase features to stakeholders and/or customers.

+ Document business process, application, and data flows.

+ Research, analyze and recommend technology configuration, functionality, and administration solutions for our various digital solutions.

+ Participate in Agile ceremonies and methodologies.

+ Define and participate in DevSecOps and SSDLC activities.

+ Document applications, perform security assessments/reviews, define and participate in user governance and administration.

+ Stay current on industry and development latest trends and technologies.

+ Experience with public, private, and/or hybrid cloud implementations.

+ ServiceNow, or similar system administration experience a plus

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Master’s degree in directly related field may be counted toward experience

+ 6+ years of experience with JSON, YAML or other popular data exchange format

+ 6+ years of experience administering applications (e.g., incident response, change requests, user administration, configuration, Salesforce, etc)

+ 3+ years of experience administering Salesforce FSC and/or Marketing Cloud is highly desired

+ Working knowledge of network and security principles

+ Strong communication and documentation skills (e.g. BPMN)

+ Working knowledge of GitHub and ADO

+ Candidates with strong understanding of authentication best practices preferred

Location:

This position requires regular face-to-face interaction with teams, business stakeholders, and executives in Salt Lake City, Utah. We will consider candidates in the area, able to relocate to the area, or working remotely but willing to travel regularly to Salt Lake City.
