    The IT/ERP Director role requires a comprehensive skill set and deep knowledge across various domains to effectively lead and manage the organization's information technology functions. Key skills include strategic planning to align IT initiatives with business objectives, strong leadership and team management capabilities to optimize team performance, and expertise in cybersecurity practices to safeguard data and systems against cyber threats. Additionally, proficiency in cloud computing technologies is essential for leveraging cloud benefits and optimizing IT infrastructure.

     

    The IT Director must also possess data analytics skills to derive actionable insights from data and support informed decision-making.

     

    Furthermore, the role demands proficiency in IT project management to ensure successful project execution, vendor management skills to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships, and a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance to uphold legal requirements. Technical expertise in troubleshooting, system transitions, and recommending upgrades is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency. Effective communication and collaboration skills are also paramount for conveying IT strategies, project status, and technical information to stakeholders across the organization, facilitating alignment and driving innovation in the IT domain.

    Computer Skills:

    Requires a diverse set of computer skills to effectively manage and optimize the organization's IT infrastructure and operations. Proficiency in cybersecurity practices, ERP systems, cloud computing technologies, and data analytics tools is essential for developing and implementing strategic IT initiatives. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware/software compatibility, and IT project management is necessary for coordinating and leading computer-related activities. Additionally, expertise in IT policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, vendor management, and team leadership is crucial for maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment while driving innovation and digital transformation.

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred Proven experience (5-7 years) in IT leadership roles, with a track record of successful technology implementations and team management. Strong understanding of cybersecurity, computing architecture, data analytics, and industry regulations Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
