Salary: $3196 / Week

The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares forpatients who have under gone anesthesia. The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse is responsible for observingand treating a patient postoperation and making sure that they safely awakefrom anesthesia. The PACU nurse mustmonitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to make sure that the sedationis wearing off properly, there are no adverse reactions occurring and patientsare regaining consciousness.

Requirements:

+ EPIC experience required

+ Permanent MA RN license in hand

+ BLS, ACLS, PALS required

+ Demonstrated skills in IV starts, hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator care required

+ minimum 1 year of recent experience in ICU/CVICU/CVPA/ER preferred

+ Prior SDC or PACU experience
