About the Role

Amergis Staffing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) Teacher to support students with mild to moderate disabilities. This role is ideal for an educator who thrives in inclusive environments and is committed to fostering academic growth, independence, and confidence in every learner.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM // 35-40 hours a week (exact hours based on bell schedule)

Start Date: September 2025

Pay Rate: Starting $45 / hour

Qualifications

+ Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate Support Needs)

+ Knowledge of IEP development and implementation

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills

+ Experience with differentiated instruction and behavior support strategies

Responsibilities

+ Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals

+ Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families

+ Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning needs

+ Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records

+ Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans

+ Create a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
