Summary

HES Facilities, LLC’s paid internship program enables students to participate in valuable real-world work experience through a variety of tailored assignments within their areas of interest and fields of study. Students will be tasked with different team-specific projects and tasks, and participate in professional development projects and events to prepare them for their future careers.

This is a paid internship starting at $20.00/Hour.

This is a three to six-month internship starting in August or September 2025.

Responsibilities:

+ Project manage digital and print projects to ensure materials are delivered in a timely fashion.

+ Assist in ensuring that projects and materials remain within budget

+ Assist in facilitating all production works, project an image reflective of HES’s guiding principles and brand guidelines

+ Suggest and create content for different projects and initiatives

+ Create processes to organize content available to marketing audience segments to use within the collateral

+ Carry out division-specific tasks/activities as assigned by the supervisor throughout the internship

+ Manage deliverables and provide regular updates

Education & Experience Requirements

+ Field of study: pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or other related fields

+ 0-3 years of relevant work experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

+ Strong communication and analytical skills

+ High levels of commitment and initiative

+ Ability to navigate or willingness to learn technology and software

+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments at a given time to

+ Possess creative thinking and problem-solving skills while implementing direction and feedback

+ Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Social Media, and Outlook (Canva, HubSpot, and WordPress a plus)

Physical Requirements

+ Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations.

+ Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribe, view a computer terminal; extensive reading.

+ Work environment

+ This position operates under an in-office work schedule and will require you to be in HES Facilities LLC’s headquarters in Knoxville, TN.

+ Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and conference settings and routinely uses standard office equipment.
