+ The hospital consistently delivers a state-of-the-art healing environment to residents of Osceola, Orange, Polk and Lake Counties, as well as to visitors from across the United States and the world. All within a 'living laboratory' of groundbreaking, research-driven clinical solutions that integrate mind, body and spirit in the defeat of illness and disease

The role you'll contribute:

Responsible for developing, mentoring, and overseeing group fitness classes, programs, and services. This position creates, implements, supervises, and evaluates quality group fitness programs to help wellness center members achieve their fitness goals. This role ensures a safe class environment for members and guests, supporting their participation in programs and activities while promoting member retention.

The value you'll bring to the team:

+ Provides quality classes by preparing lessons in advance and offering classes in accordance with organizational policies.

+ Supervises each participant for safety during all phases of the class and professionally corrects participants as necessary.

+ Greets members and staff with exemplary service and empathy.

+ Reports all incidences or injuries using the proper forms and submits them to the Group Fitness Manager, following up as required.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

+ High School Grad or Equivalent

+ Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)

+ Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) or Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) or Clinical Exercise Specialist (ACSM)
