    Overview

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a courteous, dependable, and experienced **Valet Parking Attendant** to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will have prior hospital valet experience, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and provide a welcoming first impression to patients, visitors, and staff. Bilingual fluency in **English and Spanish** is required to ensure clear communication with our diverse community.

     

    Pay: $18.50 an hour

     

    The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

     

    Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30PM

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Greet patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and compassion.

    + Safely park and retrieve vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.

    + Assist individuals with mobility needs, including opening doors and providing directions.

    + Maintain a clean and organized valet area.

    + Communicate effectively with hospital staff and valet team members.

    + Handle keys and vehicles responsibly, ensuring security and safety.

    + Provide exceptional customer service, especially in high-stress or sensitive situations.

    + Report any incidents, damages, or concerns to the supervisor immediately.

    + Uphold hospital policies and HIPAA confidentiality standards.

    Qualifications:

    + **Previous hospital valet experience** strongly preferred.

    + **Bilingual (English/Spanish)** required.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    + Ability to operate both automatic and **manual (stick shift)** vehicles preferred; willingness to learn is acceptable.

    + Must be able to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    + Professional appearance and demeanor.

    + Ability to work in various weather conditions.
