    Role Overview

    **Sodexo Corporate Services** is looking for a **Senior Manager, Area General** to join our team. This role will oversee up to 5 locations in the DC / Virgina area. The current landscape is a mix of Cafes, Pantries, and Micro-Markets. The **Senior Manager, Area General,** will work under the direction of the District Manager and support and help the District Manager direct strategies throughout the region. We are seeking candidates that are self-motivated and seeking significant career growth opportunity. This will be innovative, keeping services fresh and updated based on current trends. They will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and organizational skills.

    What You'll Do

    + Have oversight of day-to-day operations

    + successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff

    + deliver high quality food services including retail, catering

    + achieve company and client financial targets and goals

    + develop and maintain client and customer relationships (i.e., comfortable in c-suite settings where communication skills are imperative when serving as top level site management)

    Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’sDegree or equivalent experience

    Minimum Management Experience - 5 years

    Minimum Functional Experience - 5 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
