Overview
The Area Vice President for the US Central area is a leadership opportunity that allows you to directly impact the trajectory of our sales organization. You will work closely with the Vice President of Sales for the Americas and Americas Commercial leadership team in defining, communicating, and realizing the vision of the sales strategy/roadmap and growth.
Take extreme ownership as the leader of the Central Area business & teammates, fulfilling all required Area obligations, managing the downstream execution efforts to exceed sales objectives, as well as attracting, retaining & developing teammates in a diverse, empowered culture where everyone can fulfill their career ambitions. Responsibilities
+ Lead Central Area performance to meet or exceed revenue, growth, and profitability targets, with full ownership of regional P&L, budgeting, expense management, and margin optimization.
+ Drive forecasting, business planning, and data-informed resource allocation using advanced analytics and market insights, with execution across monthly, quarterly, and annual sales cycles.
+ Coach and develop Regional Sales Directors to build a high-performing, compliant, and accountable team culture.
+ Cultivate and expand relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), strategic accounts, and executive-level decision-makers to drive access, influence, and long-term partnerships.
+ Oversee execution of new product launches within the Area, ensuring commercial readiness, cross-functional coordination, and successful market penetration.
+ Proactively provide feedback to the business on improvements to our sales and marketing strategy, identify skills gaps and support sales team efforts to execute revenue generating sales activities.
+ Build and maintain executive-level customer and cross-functional partnerships that advance strategic initiatives and long-term growth.
+ Direct RFP execution to improve win rates, response quality, and cycle efficiency while minimizing cost.
+ Monitor competitive activity, customer trends, and industry developments to proactively shape area strategies. Identify operational or commercial challenges and lead the execution of effective action plans to mitigate risk and capture opportunity.
+ Introduce reporting and communication protocols that enable collaboration, solution selling, and territory alignment.
+ Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to attract, develop, and retain diverse, high-potential sales talent.
+ Represent the organization at national and regional industry events, bringing back strategic insights to inform planning.

Qualifications
Expected Areas of Competencies:
+ Track record of leading and motivating a high performing field sales teams to exceed sales goals through strong coaching and interpersonal skills
+ Strong financial acumen
+ Ability to work in a highly matrixed, fast-paced, complex environment
+ Highly driven, strong work ethic, and ability to influence others
+ Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools
+ Proven track record of consistently exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals
+ Excellent communications and presentation skills
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
+ 15+ years of direct outside sales experience in healthcare related field
+ 5+ years of team leadership experience, managing managers
+ Combined education and experience will be considered.
+ Ability to travel domestically within assigned region, and occasionally internationally, estimated 50% travel
+ Must have valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
