    Hart & Hickman, PC (H&H) is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Professional to join our growing Charlotte team. This position offers an opportunity to meaningfully contribute to our company's internal health and safety programs while also working on a variety of environmental assessment, compliance, and remediation projects.

    Minimum Requirements

    + 2–5 years of experience in environmental health & safety

    + Degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Safety Management, or related field

    + Strong critical thinking and technical writing skills

    + Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to groups

    Key Responsibilities

    + Conduct health & safety audits/reviews at environmental project sites

    + Prepare site-specific Health & Safety Plans (HASPs)

    + Develop Job Safety Analysis (JSA) forms

    + Investigate incidents/near-misses and manage reporting & follow-up

    + Recommend processes and procedures to reduce workplace hazards

    + Review and improve safety standard operating procedures (SOPs)

    + Effectively train staff in company safety programs and safe work practices

    + Oversee subcontractor onboarding and third-party H&S reporting
