    Job Title: Summer 2026 Reliability Engineering Intern

     

    Summary:As a Reliability Engineering Intern, you will lead and support projects that improve equipment performance and reduce downtime in a large-scale manufacturing environment. You will apply data analysis, root cause techniques, and predictive maintenance strategies to optimize asset reliability, while gaining hands-on experience with SAP and wireless monitoring technologies.

    Responsibilities Include:

    + OEE/RCCA Analysis & Improvement

    + 1-2 projects to improve the reliability of assets with low Mean Time Between Failures.

    + Perform SAP data analysis in conjunction with Production OEE data for one Production area to develop Monthly Reliability Performance report.

    + Apply Root Cause and troubleshooting techniques to identify reliability solutions.

    + Preventative and Predictive Maintenance

    + Reliability KPI report generation that will aid the Site in Strategic Planning of routine maintenance.

    + Project to audit and rationalize Critical Equipment maintenance plans which will require: interfacing with Production Staff, refining PM tasks, level-loading PM schedules.

    + Aid in the implementation of a new Wireless Vibration Program to monitor rotating equipment and predict early signs of failure.

    + Assist Reliability Team in day-to-day investigations and Production support.

    Qualifications:

    The following are required for the role

    + Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, OR another technical degree program with relevant Chemical Industry experience

    + Able to function in an industrial setting, work safely, and manage multiple projects.

    + Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications, emphasis on Excel.

    + Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Program Qualifications:

    + The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.

    + The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.

     

    What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
