• Sr Analyst, Tools and Reporting

    Job Summary:

    The position is responsible for working with management to build out in-house tools and reporting solutions as needed. Their work will include learning the details of the Trade Management tools/processes and finding ways to optimize and improve them. They will be responsible for designing, developing, prioritizing, and implementing changes based on the business’ goals and needs.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Design and develop scalable analytical solutions to support Trade Management activities. Leverage automation to the greatest extent possible to maximize efficiency.

    + Train other team members on developed processes, tools, and reporting. Share best practices with colleagues to enhance data analytics capability of Trade Management.

    + Leverage data from multiples sources (internal and external) to analyze business performance and provide actionable insights.

    + Work cross functionally with other stakeholders in National Sales to drive continuous process improvements.

    + Proactively identify opportunities for improvement to existing processes, tools, and reporting.

    + Create and maintain standardized reports and templates. Ad-hoc custom reporting as needed to meet specific business needs and requirements.

    + Perform data validation and cleansing to ensure accuracy and consistency. Identify and address data integrity issues.

    + Utilize Tableau to present data in a visually compelling and user-friendly format.

    Education Required:

    Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Math, or Statistics.

    Experience Required:

    Minimum 3 years of analytical experience with knowledge in SQL, R, or other scripting language. Solid analytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with analyzing reports & deriving insights from data. Experience working with large datasets. Take a business problem and develop a solution by utilizing structured data analytics with minimum instruction.

    Experience Preferred:

    Prior experience in an analytical or strategic role such as Strategy, Finance or Insights

    Technical Skills and Abilities:

    Intermediate experience with SQL (creates queries and manipulation of data) and scripting languages such as R or Python.

     

    Advanced Excel (Power Query, VBA, Parameterized SQL)

     

    Experience using Tableau preferred but not required.
