    + POSITION SUMMARY

    + Executive Director, Revenue Cycle

    + Summary:

    + The detail-oriented role is responsible for the development, coordination, and reporting of the organization's operational measurement metrics, processes, and system analytics related to revenue cycle. The Operations Analyst provides direction and support as a member of the administrative team, working closely with leadership to maximize billing, collection, reimbursement, operational effectiveness, quality of care, and improve patient experience of all patients served by the organization. This position is responsible for the review, collection and reporting of operational, quality, and performance improvement data internally and externally. This role focuses on analyzing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending data-driven solutions to enhance billing, collections, claims management, and overall financial performance.

    + Work Schedule:

    + Exempt position, may work in excess of 40 hours a week.

    + SKILLS & ABILITIES

    + Education

    + Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, healthcare, or related field, or Associate’s Degree with a minimum of three years of job-related experience, or eight years of job experience in a related field (preferred).

    + Experience

    + Experience in revenue cycle, accounting, finance, auditing, performance improvement preferred. Or Associates Degree and a minimum of three years job-related experience.

    + Computer Skills

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.

    + + Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and make actionable recommendations.

    + Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

    + Problem-Solving: Aptitude for root cause analysis and continuous process improvement.

    + Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey findings and recommendations clearly.

    + Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timelines.

    + Team Collaboration: Capable of working cross-functionally with clinical, billing, and administrative teams.

    + Knowledge of large data analytics and related tools preferred.

    + Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and information.

    + This position involves prolonged periods of seated work and frequent use of hands and fingers for tasks.
