    *How you will contribute*

    A Patient Access Specialist who excels in this role:

     

    Verify insurance benefits, eligibility, and obtain insurance authorizations when necessary.

     

    Collect deposits, co-pays, and deductibles.

     

    Educates patients and families regarding patient rights, advanced directives, and distributes patient guides.

    *What we are looking for:*

     

    High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Administrative Support Technology.

     

    Business or Office Technology preferred.

     

    Medical terminology experience recommended.

     

    Proficient in use of software programs.

     

    Excellent customer service and telephone skills are a must.
