+ **Location:** 102 Woodmont Blvd
This position will be supporting Point of Care lab workflows for STMP clinics. Quality control audits for POC testing, site visits to ensure accuracy and best practices. Responsible for CLIA lab waiver.

Responsibilities
Lead activities and workflow for Point of Care (POC) function across multiple facilities or departments.
+ Develop new POC test setups which may include project management, vendor and Laboratory Information Services representation, and validation of new tests.
+ Author policies.
+ Provide administrative, technical and educational guidance for all testing performed.
+ Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and accreditation standards with regards to safety and POC testing for all system laboratory sites.
+ Provide guidance and leadership to others responsible for POC functions across the system or multiple departments.
+ Review, analyze and report on POC testing quality control and compliance data.
+ Compile monthly and annual compliance and incidence report summaries.
+ Act a resource for the evaluation, implementation and monitoring of all new POC testing.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ Preferred Credential(s):
+ Medical Technologist (ASCP) credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC).
+ Medical Lab Scientist (ASCP) credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC).
+ Medical Tech credentialed from the American Board of Bioanalysis (AAB).
+ Medical Tech credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, medical laboratory scientist, human sciences or education qualifications as stated per CLIA requirements.
Work Experience:
+ 2 year of experience required.
