Position Purpose

R e quired Qualifications
+ High scho o l diploma or GED diploma
+ Must be able t o read, wr i te, speak and unde r sta n d the Eng l ish language.
+ Must be able t o add, sub tract, m u ltip l y and perfo r m basic math computat i ons as nee d ed.
+ Previous long term care exper i ence preferred.

Adheres to c orrect u se of p ers o nal p r o te c tive equ ip ment (PPE) req u iremen t s.

Essential Functions
+ Du s ts furn i t u re, wood w o rk , equipme n t and dus t-mo ps f l o ors. Polishes and c leans fixt u res in ro oms and bathrooms.
+ Operates envi r onme n tal services e q uipment (e.g., vacuum s , f l o o r cleaners, buffers, shampooers, etc.).
+ Wet-mops roo m s, hal l s and o t her areas; sh a mp oo s r ug s and f u rni t ur e .
+ Cleans vents, fan f i xt u res, t o p o f windo w s, door fr a mes and oth e r h igh s u rf a ce s .
+ Gathers and dis p os e s o f t r a sh and was t e m a terials u sing specif i ed bags a n d container s .
+ Moves furniture a nd o t h e r heavy objects as re qu i r ed.
+ Perf o rms te r mi n al c lea n i n g pr o cedures of r e sident ro om s and p repares ro o ms f o r n e w admis s ions; follows isolat i on proce d ures in i s ol a ti o n roo m s.
+ Cleans and disi n fects all f i xt u res, f l o or s, mirro r s, wi n dow s , doors and walls of bathroo m s.
+ Makes s u pp l y p acks f o r d ep artments and pu ts li ne n stacks in c a rts for distri bu ti o n. Takes s u pply requests and deli v ers them.
+ Delivers linen to departments according t o pr e- es t a b l i shed par levels and sched u les.
+ Keeps wo rk areas neat a nd orderly, cle a ns eq u i p ment and as s is t s with o ther cle a ni n g d u ties a s as s igned.
