Siena University is accepting applications for the position of Student Coordinator in the School of Science (SOS). This is a part-time (20 hrs/week), 9-month position that reports to the Assistant Dean of the School of Science.
Responsibilities:
+ Serve as the first SOS contact for students, parents, faculty, staff and outside visitors by providing excellent customer service
+ Provide administrative support to the Dean and Assistant Dean of Science
+ Work with faculty and students to facilitate scheduling, registration and maintaining files and records
+ Provide administrative support to School of Science faculty by processing adjunct contracts, assisting with new faculty searches and helping with room scheduling
+ Oversee the employment processes for regular student employees by working with Business Affairs to manage procedures and paperwork
+ Submit work order requests and distribute keys to faculty, staff and students
+ Maintain the School of Science Instagram account and work with faculty to post information about student accomplishments and events
+ Order office supplies, paper, and toner for the School of Science
Salary range: $17.24/hour

Job Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one-year relevant experience; proficiency in Microsoft office products (knowledge of Banner a plus) and the ability to learn new computer software programs. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and interact effectively with faculty, administrators, students and parents are essential to this position, as is the ability to prioritize appropriately.
A background screening will be required.
