Position Summary

Performs onsite material care, custody, and control functions in support of construction field activities. Carries out day to day activities of the warehouse department including shipping and receiving of products and materials, issuing tools, documentation, and inventory control.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

+ Organize and maintain inventory of tools, equipment and job materials

+ Load and unload materials from trucks using a hand truck or forklift

+ Use computer to prepare materials for shipping and receiving

+ Perform basic repair of tools and equipment and fabrication of pipe and hangers

+ Deliver materials and equipment to jobsites in local area

Qualifications

+ Diploma or equivalent required

+ Current valid Driver's License and clean driving history required

+ Punctuality and the ability to work overtime if needed

+ Effective verbal communication

+ Fundamental math & computer skills with Microsoft office products

+ Ability to lift 40 lbs or more repeatedly through the day

+ OSHA 10 & forklift certification preferred

+ Experience in the fire sprinkler industry preferred

+ DOT qualified preferred

• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Perform other duties as required.
