Location - Fountain Valley, CA
PURPOSE:
Plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like. Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform all activities required by project management professionals, these include:
+ Project Planning:
Develop detailed project plans including scope definition, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget estimations.
+ Team Leadership:
Assemble and lead a cross-functional team, assigning tasks, delegating responsibilities, and providing guidance to ensure optimal performance.
+ Progress Monitoring:
Track project progress against the plan, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedule and budget.
+ Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and develop mitigation strategies for potential project risks.
+ Stakeholder Communication:
Regularly communicate project status updates to key stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members, addressing concerns and managing expectations.
+ Budget Management:
Monitor project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budget constraints and making necessary adjustments as needed.
+ Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
+ Issue Resolution:
Identify and resolve project issues promptly, escalating when necessary to maintain project momentum.
+ Project Closure:
Complete project documentation, conduct post-project reviews, and gather lessons learned for future projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
+ Minimum 8+ years Project Management Experience or 5 year Project Management with 2 years of Business Analyst experience.
+ Experienced with entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for solution delivery
+ Project Management Office (PMO) experience a plus.
+ Experience with automotive industry a plus
+ Strong MS Project 2010 skills required
+ Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong Analytic, Documentation, and Organizational Skills
+ Efficient with multitasking between multiple projects
+ Data Analysis Skills (e.g., SQL data extraction, Exporting to MS Excel, data manipulation, Report Formatting, and analysis)
+ Proficiency in all Microsoft products including: MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint 2013
+ Experience using Project Server 2013 a plus
CERTIFICATIONS:
PMP Certification preferred
Salary Range - $103,170 - $158,873
