Description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Underwriting Associate to join our team in Whitehouse, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to underwriting operations and support critical business functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, multitasking abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare renewal analysis templates by downloading and organizing core information 90 days prior to policy renewals.

• Verify policy implementation documents within three days of receipt to ensure alignment with quotes.

• Facilitate the booking and issuance of multiline policies and endorsements.

• Communicate with brokers and overseas offices to gather renewal information 60-90 days before renewal deadlines.

• Distribute policy copies to brokers upon request.

• Assist underwriting teams in reviewing and resolving workers' compensation criticisms.

• Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned to support underwriting operations.

Requirements • Proven ability to multitask and manage high-volume workloads in fast-paced environments.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• High attention to detail and ability to evaluate and interpret complex data.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Office applications.

• Familiarity with underwriting processes and policy implementation.

• High school diploma or equivalent education.

• At least one year of experience as an Underwriting Assistant.
