Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a dynamic real estate and property team in Carmel, Indiana. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial management and project accounting who pays close attention to detail. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain and monitor the general ledger, ensuring all entries comply with accounting standards.

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

• Support financial statement audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.

• Implement and oversee cost accounting practices to track expenses and profitability.

• Analyze project accounting data to ensure alignment with corporate budgets and goals.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create detailed financial reports and dashboards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Demonstrated expertise in preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Familiarity with cost accounting and project accounting principles.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.

• CPA certification is highly preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
