Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller and IT Manager to oversee the financial and information technology operations of our organization in Perrysburg, Ohio. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the company’s financial stability and operational efficiency by providing accurate insights and managing key processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to take ownership of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage cash flow and oversee treasury functions to ensure financial health and stability.

• Supervise accounting activities, compliance measures, and human resources functions.

• Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to support informed business decisions.

• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to guide organizational planning.

• Coordinate tax planning and filing processes with external firms.

• Oversee the information technology program, collaborating with IT experts to ensure system functionality.

• Select and manage service providers for accounting, employee benefits, and corporate insurance.

• Implement and monitor financial software systems, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

• Lead initiatives to optimize financial and IT processes across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration required.

• MBA and/or CPA are preferred.

• Proven experience as a Controller or financial manager, ideally in a small to mid-size business.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Proficiency in financial software systems, with experience in Infor Visual ERP preferred.

• Familiarity with managing IT functions for Windows ‘on-premises’ networks.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency in Office productivity tools, particularly Excel.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
