    The Chemical Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels of chemicals, supplies, and related materials while ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. This role involves consistent interaction with laboratory and production staff, inventory inspections, chemical handling, and supporting a safe and hazard-free workplace. The position requires flexibility, professionalism, and strong communication skills. Occasional travel between local customer sites will be required, with mileage reimbursement provided.

     

    **Location** : Nashua, NH area (with occasional travel between local customer sites in NH and MA).

    **Pay:** 20/hr.

    **Type:** Contract to HIre

    **Shift:** 1st (start times between 7am-8:30am)

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Maintain knowledge of products including hardware, chemicals, tooling, electronic components, and inventory systems.

    + Monitor production bins and storage cabinets to determine replenishment needs.

    + Perform inventory inspections, analysis, and documentation in line with customer and regulatory standards.

    + Conduct chemical compatibility analysis/sampling and perform chemical additions to process tanks as directed.

    + Ensure availability and timely delivery of necessary chemicals and supplies.

    + Use hand scanners to record stocking locations and process replenishment orders.

    + Receive, verify, and stock materials while ensuring inventory accuracy.

    + Transport materials and restock bins/cabinets on-site as needed.

    + Operate pallet jacks, drum dollies, forklifts, or order pickers (with proper training/certification).

    + Maintain workspace cleanliness, repair/replace bins or cabinets, and apply labeling.

    + Respond to hazardous material releases and perform spill cleanup in compliance with safety standards.

    + Support customer requests such as schedule changes, required overtime, or holiday/weekend coverage when needed.

    + Collaborate with supervisors and leads to add new parts, adjust bin quantities, and maintain stock accuracy.

    + Adhere to safety/security processes and regulatory compliance (OSHA, FAR, EPA, DOT, RCRA).

    + Travel as needed between customer sites (all within approximately 25 miles).

    Must-Have Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED required (College degree preferred).

    + 1–2 years of inventory management, materials handling, or production experience required.

    + 1–2 years of experience with chemical compatibility preferred.

    + HAZWOPER 40-hour training required.

    + Experience with JIT, VMI, or 3PO processes strongly preferred.

    + Aerospace or regulated industry experience a plus.

    Skills & Requirements

    + Ability to work safely in a regulated environment, including cleanrooms.

    + Must be able to wear and support PPE (respirator, gloves, face shield, apron, etc.).

    + Strong communication and customer service skills.

    + Detail-oriented with accurate data entry/documentation skills.

    + Proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook, and integrated data systems.

    + Ability to travel locally between sites (reliable transportation required).

    + Flexible and team-oriented with eagerness to learn and adapt.
