    The Recreational Living (RL) Warranty & Service Senior Manager serves as the primary leader for all service and warranty operations within the Recreational Living segment. This role is responsible for driving excellence in technical support, process optimization, and customer satisfaction, while ensuring seamless service delivery across warranty specialists, dealers, and technical partners.

     

    The Senior Manager will lead a high-performing Warranty Specialist team, implement process improvements to streamline warranty claims, and oversee performance metrics that enhance operational efficiency. A key responsibility includes developing and delivering best-in-class technical training programs—both in-person and virtual—designed to elevate the expertise of RV dealers, service technicians, and field service networks. This includes building an accredited, industry-leading curriculum that establishes GE Appliances as the benchmark for training and service quality in the RV industry.

     

    This role requires close collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, Technology, Operations, Sales, and Field Service teams to proactively resolve issues, improve product quality, and support long-term strategic business initiatives. By combining technical expertise, operational leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement, the RL Warranty & Service Senior Manager ensures GE Appliances delivers superior aftermarket support and strengthens its competitive advantage in Recreational Living.

    How You'll Create Possibilities

    Responsibilities:

    Warranty & Service Leadership

    + Oversee and own all warranty service support functions, ensuring efficient case resolution and best-in-class customer experiences.

    + Lead, mentor, and develop the Warranty Specialist team into a high-performing, customer-focused organization.

    + Drive continuous improvement in warranty claim processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and satisfactory closures.

    + Monitor, analyze, and improve warranty performance metrics; translate data into actionable insights.

    + Partner with Consumer & Dealer Services and call centers to harmonize practices and deliver consistent, scalable solutions.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Audit, and Operations teams to align warranty practices with broader business goals.

    Training & Development

    + Design, organize, and deliver in-depth technical training programs for the GE Appliances field service network (including RV dealers, technicians, service centers, and other service providers).

    + Serve as the primary training facilitator for both in-person and virtual sessions.

    + Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Technology, Operations, and Field Service to develop high-quality training content covering product service, as well as foundational mechanical and electrical skills.

    + Produce training videos and technical content to support emerging products and field readiness.

    + Build and maintain an industry-accredited training program in partnership with RV institutions and associations.

    Industry & Event Support

    + Represent GE Appliances at trade shows, industry events, and customer roadshows to promote service excellence and training programs.

    + Provide technical expertise and support at internal sales meetings and business events as needed.

     

    What You'll Bring to Our Team

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or 10+ years of relevant industry experience.

    + Minimum 7 years’ professional experience in Home Appliance and/or RV Appliance service/industry.

    + Strong background in technical training for appliances or related industries.

    + Proven ability to analyze reports, KPIs, and large data sets to generate insights and drive partner performance.

    + Demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives in service/warranty operations.

    + Strong organizational, analytical, and execution skills.

    + Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching/mentoring capabilities.

    + High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

    + Willingness and ability to travel to OEM plants, dealerships, and aftermarket events as required, including occasional evenings/weekends.

    Preferred

    + Direct experience managing warranty processes and teams.

    + Hands-on appliance technical training experience with proven ability to train large service networks.

    + Prior field service industry experience.

    + Customer-first, “appliance ownership” mindset.

    + Strong ability to collaborate and influence across multi-functional teams.
