    Overview

     

    As the Director of Mergers & Acquisition, you will oversee and execute the process for acquisitions and partnerships, analyzing financial data, performing due diligence, and negotiating transactions. This role requires a deep understanding of valuation analysis, corporate finance, operations, and a general understanding of legal matters related to mergers and acquisitions. Effective communication and leadership abilities are essential to assist the company in making strategic decisions that impact the growth and success of our organization.

     

    Job Role & Responsibilities

     

    + Responsible for Corporate Development department projects and activities

    + Responsible for identifying and analyzing mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and making recommendations as to their impact on the corporation's profitability and financial returns

    + Work closely with legal, accounting, and other departments to ensure successful execution of M&A projects

    + Negotiate terms of the acquisition with the target company and its shareholders on behalf of the company

    + Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates and recommendations about potential transactions and their progress

    + Support the development of long-term strategic plans and corporate initiatives

    + Evaluate potential M&A targets, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships

    + Build detailed financial models to assess the viability and impact of potential deals

    + Perform valuation analyses including DCF and comparable company analysis

    + Coordinate due diligence efforts across internal teams and external advisors

    + Prepare board presentations and executive summaries

    + Analyze financial statements and forecast future performance

    + Ensure alignment and integration of strategic initiatives across the organization

    + Support post-merger integration planning and execution

    + Ability to identify and to adapt to the changing markets and trends

    + Possess strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to build strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders

    + Project management, strategic planning skills, business and financial skills, significant industry understanding, organizational knowledge, and ability to work with all levels of the organization are required

    + Monitor company's effectiveness as an acquirer and identify potential future challenges

    + High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity

    + Liaise with business line deal teams and Divisional leadership to ensure advance notice and preparation for integration planning

    + Coordinate diverse activities within and across functional areas
