Quality Assurance Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Work with local project teams for opportunities to apply 'best of breed' quality processes across the portfolio. Create and provide updates on local QMS work procedures for achieving and maintaining ISO 9001 / AS9100 certification for the Engineering facilities. Facilitate training for the facility users as well as all other aspects of front-line quality management. Establish strong relationships with key staff and provide clear, concise, and timely responses to queries posed. Coordinate data calls and the presentation of QMS performance information to leadership and project teams, as well as training delivery in areas of subject matter expertise . Work with the Corporate Quality Program to assure successful audit outcomes and provide fundamental knowledge to enable the Quality Assurance Spe cia list to impart positive impacts and reduce risks to projects, facilities under certification, and Booz Allen at large.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Experience providing quality support for engineering or science solutions as a technical project member, technical project lead, quality lead, or project manager, where integration, assembly, test, fabrication, or prototyping took place in a technical facility or controlled laboratory environment

+ Experience with the control of inspection, measuring, or test equipment for calibration, electrostatic sensitive devices ( ESD ) , and limited life items, including shelf life

+ Experience with risk assessment to support technical project delivery

+ Experience dispositioning non conformances, root cause and corrective action investigations, or trend analysis

+ Experience supporting and c ond ucting AS9100 or ISO 9001 audits

+ Experience working on U.S. Government contract s including roles, processes, and constraints

+ Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively

+ Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

+ HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience with quality assurance, or Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience with quality assurance

Additional Qualifications:

+ Experience in a Quality role within a certified ISO 9001 or AS9100 facility

+ Experience with additional models and standards, including CMMI or ISO 20000

+ Experience with a process modeling tool, including Visio

+ Experience with providing training support for quality processes and implementation

+ Ability to adjust quickly to change

+ Possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills

+ Secret clearance

+ Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
