Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Development Manager to oversee the execution and alignment of teams and complex technology projects within our Tech Solutions group. You will play a crucial role in ensuring these initiatives adhere to our strategic vision, acting as the bridge between technical teams, architects, and business stakeholders. This role demands a strong leader with deep technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to drive successful program delivery.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the execution of complex technology projects, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
+ Manage multiple development teams to deliver high-quality software products that meet business needs and technical requirements.
+ Translate technology practices into clear business value propositions.
+ Cultivate strong business relationships to build trust in technical strategies.
+ Connect technical narratives to business goals for leaders, peers, and direct reports.
+ Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable strategies.
+ Provide regular updates on technology advancements, project progress, and key challenges to senior leadership.
+ Define and visually communicate technical architecture.
+ Author technical architecture reviews and evaluate architecture decision records.
+ Actively participate in technical architecture discussions beyond assigned projects.
+ Refine workflows and development processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce development cycles.
+ Drive the adoption of agile methodologies to ensure flexibility and Iteration in project execution.
+ Optimize resource allocation, balancing talent, tools, and budgets to deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degree from an accredited program and 8 years related professional experience in Information Security required or;
+ High School Diploma/GED and 12 years related professional experience in Information Technology required.
+ Previous leadership and/or management experience is preferable.
+ Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
+ Position requires the ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change.
+ Must possess strong project management skills and a strategic perspective.
+ Strongly preferred:
+ Experience:
+ Minimum of 10 years in technology delivery, including at least 5 years in leadership roles managing large, multi-disciplinary teams.
+ Proven track record in delivering complex, enterprise-scale solutions focusing on innovation and scalability.
+ Technical Expertise:
+ Strong understanding of system architecture, cloud platforms, and modern development frameworks.
+ Expertise in agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and performance optimization techniques.
+ Deep knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements for technology delivery.
+ Leadership Skills:
+ Exceptional ability to mentor and inspire software development teams.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
+ Experience managing offshore teams.
