    Wound Care Nurse/Infection Control Position Summary

     

    As a Wound Care Nurse/Infection Control (RN) at Laurelwood Health Care, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

     

    + Focuses on the community’s wound care program, working with the wound care physician.

    + Oversee resident care related to the prevention and healing of pressure ulcers.

    + Provide continuing education of wound care to our staff and families.

    + Participate in QAPI and execute wound care assessments.

    + Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

    + Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

    Wound Care Nurse/Infection Control Requirements

    + Active RN license for the state of Tennessee

    + 3 years nursing experience

    + Completed Infection Control training
