Job Description:

+ We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Documentation Specialist to support our sustainability and product lifecycle efforts.

+ Your primary mission will be to create, structure, and maintain comprehensive technical documents that detail the dismantling and reassembling processes of our products.

+ These documents will play a crucial role in enabling effective servicing, recycling, and reuse of our products.

Responsibilities:

+ Technical Documentation Development:

+ Develop clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation including dismantling instructions, reassembly guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

+ Ensure documentation complies with industry standards and internal quality guidelines.

+ Content Aggregation and Integration:

+ Identify and gather relevant technical content from existing documentation, drawings, service manuals, and subject matter experts (SMEs).

+ Consolidate and structure this information into coherent, usable formats tailored to technicians, engineers, or third-party service providers.

+ Cross-functional Collaboration:

+ Work closely with engineering, product development, service, and sustainability teams to capture technical knowledge and ensure accuracy of documentation.

+ Participate in product teardowns, assembly reviews, and technical meetings to stay aligned with evolving product designs and requirements.

+ Change Management & Flexibility:

+ Adapt quickly to changes in product design, serviceability strategies, and regulatory updates.

+ Manage updates and version control of documentation to reflect ongoing changes.

Experience:

+ Strong understanding of engineering concepts, especially in dismantling and reassembling of complex assemblies.

+ Proficient in using documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, MadCap Flare, or equivalent platforms.

+ Experience working with CAD drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical schematics is highly desirable.

Skills:

+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes in simple terms.

+ Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

+ Comfortable working in dynamic environments with frequent changes and shifting priorities.

Education:

+ Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
