Responsibilities
Supervise the daily activities of assigned staff.
+ Determine, coordinats and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
+ Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations. Provide input for hiring and termination procedures.
+ Coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes.
+ Assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
+ May perform the duties of a technologist as department staffing levels require. Create work schedules to ensure all areas of diagnostic imaging are covered 24/7.
+ Perform diagnostics of system when performance is degraded, system has failed, or end user has encountered difficulty in using the application.
+ Ensure that adequate supply levels are maintained. Perform quarterly audits of all supply closets to review stock vs. workload. Make any changes to supply levels if necessary.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ One or more of the following required:
+ Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
+ Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Radiologic Technologist specializing in Cardiac-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
+ Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
+ Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
+ Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
+ Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
