Overview
**Mgr RDC & Inventory** _Monday - Friday_
As a CSC **Mgr RDC & Inventory** you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Receiving, Shipping, and Inventory Management functions at a designated Regional Distribution Center (RDC). This role is responsible for driving a culture of LEAN continuous improvement, standardizing operational processes, and optimizing performance through effective use of systems, tools, and technology. The individual will lead cross-functional initiatives and play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and exceptional service delivery.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Oversee day-to-day operations of the RDC, with full accountability for receiving, shipping, and inventory functions.
+ Lead and develop a high-performing RDC operations team focused on inventory fulfillment, accuracy, and service excellence.
+ Partner with planning and procurement teams to ensure inventory levels meet operational and customer demand.
+ Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and resolution of variances (new and used stock).
+ Assign and manage workflow to ensure timely execution of receiving and shipping within established SLAs.
+ Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies related to purchased inventory; serve as primary contact for Accounts Payable.
+ Manage timely processing of warranty and guarantee submissions for applicable inventory.
+ Oversee the maintenance and compliance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to ensure safe operation.
+ Identify root causes and implement corrective actions for overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) on inbound and outbound materials.
+ Monitor inventory trends, proactively addressing shortages and delivery challenges.
+ Develop, review, and analyze operational reports to drive performance improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
+ Ensure compliance with federal safety regulations and internal safety standards; enforce safe work practices across all warehouse operations.
+ Perform other strategic and operational duties as assigned.
Leadership & People Management:
+ Recruit, onboard, and retain qualified warehouse operations talent.
+ Set clear team objectives and performance expectations; manage workload distribution and shift scheduling.
+ Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous learning through coaching and training.
+ Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
+ Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions and terminations, in alignment with company policies.
+ Ensure consistent application and communication of company policies, procedures, and operational standards within the team.

What we’re looking for
Qualifications and Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
+ 7–10 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least several years in a leadership capacity.
+ Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
+ Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain per local regulations and company policy).

+ **Leadership & Team Development:** Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage diverse teams. Skilled in setting direction, establishing goals, and driving accountability for performance and results.
+ **Supply Chain & Operations Expertise:** In-depth understanding of warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and fulfillment. Familiar with LEAN principles and continuous improvement practices.
+ **Organizational Agility:** Highly organized, goal-oriented, and able to manage through ambiguity. Strong planning and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.
+ **Communication & Collaboration:** Effective communicator with the ability to engage cross-functionally and build strong working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
+ **Analytical Thinking:** Ability to interpret and act on operational data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations. Comfortable using KPIs and data tools to monitor and improve performance.
+ **Technology & Adaptability:** Proficient with modern warehouse management systems (WMS), mobile technology (smartphones/tablets), and Microsoft Office. Capable of reading and interpreting technical documents, safety regulations, and process manuals. Willingness to work flexible hours to meet business needs.
Physical Expectations
+ Ability to lift and carry items weighing 35–100 lbs as required.
+ Frequent movement in restrictive spaces, including kneeling, squatting, reaching, and overhead lifting.
+ Regular handling of tools, equipment, and service parts weighing 20–50 lbs.
+ Exposure to varied warehouse and environmental conditions, including temperature fluctuations and physical exertion.
