Job Summary and Qualifications

+ Develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate the Transplant Focused Quality Assurance and Process Improvement (FQAPI) for Las Palmas Kidney Transplant Services

+ Provide consultation to the Multidisciplinary team in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of transplant related patient care

+ Analyzes programs, projects and goals utilizing quality improvement, evidence based practice, and research principles to change culture, standardize patient care, best practice and improve patient outcomes

+ Facilitate review of quality activities, including retirement of indicators, selection of new indicators, data source, data collection, analysis and improvement.

+ Collaborates with Risk Management and Hospital Quality to perform root cause analysis (RCA) as needed; ensuring alignment of all interventions with the transplant quality plan

+ Oversee, coordinate and implement regulatory activities and site reviews as required including CMS Transplant CoP, CMS Transplant FQAPI, Joint Commission, UNOS/OPTN Program Surveys, Living Donor program surveys and other regulatory agencies

What qualifications you will need:

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ (RN) Registered Nurse

+ Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
