    How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

     

    This role supports Delta’s third-party Maintenance, Repair,

    and Overhaul (MRO) business by driving financial and operational excellence

    through detailed risk analysis, performance monitoring, and continuous process

    improvement. The successful candidate will bring a continuous improvement

    mindset and collaborate across teams in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Analyzemaintenance program performance and develop detailed risk assessments tosupport strategic decision-making.

    + Identifyand execute opportunities to improve financial and operationalperformance, including shop LEAN initiatives and long-term projectplanning.

    + Develop,implement, and maintain activity-based costing tools to assess financialperformance and understand maintenance cost drivers.

    + Monitor,refine, and report on operational KPIs to ensure alignment with businessgoals.

    + Collaboratewith cross-functional stakeholders including the Commercial and Productteams to maximize business outcomes.

    + Supportcontract fulfillment and execution by tracking performance againstbusiness cases and ensuring achievement of key metrics.

    + Prepareand present business updates and strategic recommendations to seniorleadership.

    + Championa safety-conscious culture by developing strategic and tactical plans thatpromote employee safety and well-being.

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

    + Strong finance, communication, and FP&A related skills.

    + Excellent time management, detail orientation, and interpersonal relationship skills.

    + Robust analytical ability, the capability to deliver results, and excellent organization through defined and ambiguous challenges or tasks.

    + A track record for partnering with other business stakeholders through multiple contiguous tasks. You’ll need to be able to engage the business in a manner that enhances productivity and encourages operational transformation toward optimal cost efficiency.

    + An ability to interact with all levels of management. Must possess the ability to present complex material in a concise but comprehensive manner.

    + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

    + Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

    + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

    + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

    What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

    + A bachelor's degree or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field is preferred.

    + Six Sigma/LEAN experience.

    + Five or more years of related experience and experience in leadership role highly preferred.

    + Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Salesforce, SAP, Hyperion, SAP Analysis for Office, Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
