    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but are not limited to):

    + Become a diagnostic expert. Independently interrogate, interpret, and reprogram cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs), including pacemakers, ICDs, CRT-Ds, and ILRs, during in-clinic and remote follow-ups.

    + Master the technology. Work with the latest device programmers from leading manufacturers (Medtronic, Boston Scientific, St. Jude/Abbott, and more) to ensure optimal device function.

    + Empower our patients. Provide comprehensive and empathetic patient education on their devices and remote monitoring systems, ensuring they feel confident and informed about their care.

    + Lead with confidence. Triage complex device issues and effectively communicate critical findings to our electrophysiologists and physicians for immediate action.

    + Stay ahead of the curve. Coordinate remote monitoring programs and keep pace with the rapidly evolving technology in cardiac device management.

    + Join a recall task force. Assist in identifying and contacting patients affected by device advisories or recalls, ensuring a safe and efficient follow-up process.

    Qualifications

    Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

     

    1. High School diploma or equivalent required

    2. College degree preferred

    3. Completion of complex rhythn recognition class.

    4. Successful completion of a Cardiac Device Educational Program or 2 years patient care wcperience, including exposure of implantable cardiac devices and complex arrhythmia recognition.
