    Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Maintenance Mechanic

    **Location:** Quincy, IL

    **Pay Range:** $52,000

     

    Shift: 1st shift

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Perform skilled maintenance tasks including repairing and maintaining screw conveyors, elevator legs, and belt conveyors.

    + Execute welding, cutting, and brazing as needed for equipment repairs.

    + Replace and install motors, ensuring optimal functionality of machinery.

    + Conduct minor fabrication and installation of gear reducers and guards.

    + Perform machine lubrication and preventive maintenance to maintain equipment efficiency.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.

    + Ability to operate and maintain portable power tools and hand tools.

    + Familiarity with welding and cutting techniques.

    + Strong understanding of safety practices and company policies.

    + Ability to read and interpret sketches and simple blueprints.
