    Manpower Client located in Racine WI. is looking for dedicated Legal Customer Service/Call Center candidates. Must be energetic and great phone personality.

     

    Legal Customer Service Assistant and Paralegal

    Specific job duties include but are not limited to:

    + Process daily mail.

    + Telephone communication with client.

    + Manage a client caseload under the direct supervision of an attorney.

    + Prepare correspondence with clients, government and administrative agencies.

    + Prepare and review appeals and evidentiary documents for submission to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

    + Legal, medical, government, and administrative research.

    + Assist in retention and management of expert witnesses.

    + Maintain and manage documentation in the firm’s case management software.

    + Other duties and administrative tasks as requested/assigned from attorneys and partners

    Skills and Qualifications:

    + Highly organized and attentive to detail.

    + Outstanding customer service skills.

    + Ability to problem solve and make practical decisions.

    + Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

    + Solid spelling, grammatical, and proofreading skills.

    + Ability to maintain professionalism, client confidentiality, and a positive attitude.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Well versed with computers and Microsoft Office software.

    + Adaptability.

    + Efficiency, flexibility, independence, and patience.

    + Excellent organization and time management skills.

     

    Important: This position operates within a **_fast-paced, high-volume_** environment and employees are expected to maintain a steady cadence throughout each workday.

     

    **Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.** Experience in working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal government agencies is a plus. We will provide training on our case management software, but proficiency with computers is required.

     

    This is a full-time position working approximately 40 hours per week

     

    Job Type: Full-time

     

    Pay: $20 per hour

     

    Expected hours: 40 per week
